They had the size tank as far as dimensions. I had them add the extra pick up tube and moved them to the end. I guess not a true custom, but they did build on request. I would imagine they can do any build if needed.
Not a bad price. Just make sure itâs pretty full or youâre parking on hill the right way to make sure you pick up fuel if youâre low.
Youâre going to want to secure that fuel line along that front railing of the trailer. The last thing you want is to rip it out or put a hole in it from using the front of the trailer.
Yes, it will be secured for sure. Just ran out of time & energy.
Thanks
Lol. I get it. Keep us updated on that 800. How much will you run it per year?
The way the season has started, hopefully a lot. I plan to change all fluids after the first job to clean out the break-in debris. I received my electric Hannay reel but still waiting on my hose. Fedex has been a joke with delivering packages lately.
Which pump is it? I sure would love to know as I am thinking about building me a setup much like yours.
BTW, after the bucket test, I got around 9 GPM. It is a beast for sure.
Thanks so much for sharing your build process. There are some things I probably wouldâve done differently, but itâs obvious you put a lot of thought into your build. Well edited video, too.
Youâve probably already shared some of this info, but I was wondering if you wouldnât mind outlining some key points in one post?
- Source and pricing for the motor?
- same info for the other components; pump, unloader, plumbing parts, etc?
- Turnaround time for receiving those parts?
- After your experience, would you recommend those vendors to other members here?
Thanks!! It was for sure a fun build an a great learning experience. The trailer is very efficient, but I would have maybe changed a couple of things. All in all, I m very satisfied with the build. For anyone with mechanical experience I would highly recommend building your equipment & trailer if possible. Below are the requested items and I used a price range due to variances.
Honda IGX800- North Georgia Airless- $1,450- $1,600. Other vendors are now getting inventory.
Sprayer Depot Udor GKC 30/24- $1071.20 & skid $85.00. Also get the harden key- $8.00
Pressure Washer Products ZK1 Unloader-$93.00- Hose barbs, Banjo Strainer, Feed Hose, Unloader Block, Tips- Approximately $200.00
Southside Eq.- 200â pressure washer hose & 2â whip lines- $250.00
The turn around was around 3-5 days. Shipping was faster than I thought.
My experience with the vendors I chose was great for the most part. I would have liked to use one source, but no one had all the pieces I needed. Below is the report card on the vendors.
North Georgia Airless- A+
Sprayer Depot- A+
Pressure Washer Products- B- (No alerts for parts not in stock causing delayed shipment)
Southside Eq.- A+
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Wow, I really like it. Good job, that is going to be a beast.
@Dago52 Great video. Have you tried to take the pump off the motor yet? Something tells me it is glued for good. I know you talked to Udor people several times but have you actually tried to take the pump off?
Again, very nice build and ingenuity!
Cheers!
No, I have not or plan to remove it unless I have too. I have seen a few other builders use the same technique. Thanks and it has been working great so far!
Do you have skuâs or part numbers for these items? The search feature on SprayerDepot is like throwing darts.
@Dago52, does the iGX have a return line for fuel?
Btw, rewatching your build video, and just caught the âlagniappeâ. Not a word I hear often. You from the Louisiana area?
I would call and speak to Brandon. They build the skid per order and I donât think it has a skew. The harden key is Udor part #- 6914.83. The key was not listed on their website, but they had it in stock when I called.
Yes Sir. New Orleans area!!
I have the same pump mated to a GX690 and was surprised to see I got 9gpm as well. Going on 2 years and zero issues so far!
I can also confirm Iâm getting 9+ gpm with open flow/soap nozzles with the Udor gkc 30/24. Have not done a bucket test yet with high pressure nozzles. I assume itâll be right around the rated 8gpm.
