5x8 Trailer Build

I wanted a lot smaller chemical tank, but I couldn’t find a smaller one without a drain. I am planning to keep it no more than 20-25 gallons in there. That toolbox isn’t too heavy either. Thanks for the word of caution though!

Thank you! I thought it worked out pretty well. I am a little OCD, so I like for everything to have a place!

What’s with different quick connects on the guns

Might wanna get some rubber feet under that skid.

What’re you using to hold your traffic cones in place there? Looks like a rod of some sort? How’s it attached?

Lotta good though went into your build for sure.

One of those guns came with the machine and I keep forgetting to switch it out. It’s just a backup. I have two good guns that’s I outfitted with quick connects from PressureTek.

What will rubber feet do for me? My supplier said they weren’t necessary when I asked for them.

As far as the cones, I used one of these:

With an 18” pipe screwed into it. It worked pretty well and I have room for more if I need it.

Thank you for the compliments. I worked hard to ensure it was functional and looked professional.

Looks really sweet. Where did you get the brace for the back of your reels?

Thank you! I built it. It is just 2x4s painted black. A little junky, but just temporary. When my buddy gets back into town he is welding me a bracket out of angle iron.

@Jordie Can we do away with the delete comment feature. It is bad enough when a Mod deletes stuff, but it is crazy to go back and read a thread that doesn’t make sense because someone has deleted what they wrote.

Overkill ? Then my 225 tank must be extreme overkill lmfao. I also have a 5.5 x 10 lol

Might want to add a brush with extendable handle.

You did a really good job. How much did you sink into the build if you don’t mind me asking?

A pipe would just keep screwing further in and never get tight. Put a nut on the pipe before you screw it in. Then screw in the pipe to the proper depth and tighten the jam nut against the flange.
