5x8 Trailer Build

Unscrew the barb and stick a screwdriver or small ladies foot in there and turn. Maybe a little heat, but shouldn’t need it. Longer the unloader hangs on the pump more chances of thread damage.

Thanks @Innocentbystander worked like a charm! I will look into a unloader block very soon!

Lol. You are quick

That 5x8 will fill up quick! I have the same machine.

On a 5x10. My buffer tank is overkill though.

Oh believe me, it’s already pretty full! Haha I think my next trailer will be a 12ft tandem axle. That’s down the line though!

unloader block is $20. Totally worth it for your pump’s sake. 3/8" Unloader Block - Pressure Tek

Don’t cut the hose yet if you haven’t. Use it to run from your pump to unloader when you get a block. Scratch that. Thought it was pressure hose for some reason. I’m beat… But I’m right about the block

Ah, I already cut the hose off. I will have to replace it. I didn’t realize unloader blocks were only $20. I will have to try and get one!

Not to totally get off subject, but you seem to have the scoop on a lot of things. Do you know of any place where I can buy whip lines locally? I forgot to order one with my big PressureTek order and I would like to get some more work done tomorrow instead of having to wait on more orders. Thanks!

Perfect! Thank you!

Good. Lol. I thought it was pressure hose for some reason. It wouldn’t work.

I see you have the Tucker DI filter set up there on the cart. What do you use to pressurize the filter and send water up your window cleaning pole?

Nothing, haven’t needed any extra pressure. Biggest house I’ve done is a two story so maybe I go any higher I will have pressure issues…

Oh I see, you hook up to water spigot at the job straight to the filter. That’s what I do as well.

The trailer has been done for about a week and a half. It is working well and I am ready to get the ball rolling. Thanks to everyone that helped along the way!

Looks good man!

Looks .good.

Whats the.weight rate.of the.axle?

Thank you! @SurfaceMedic and @Ikii

The axle is rated for 1750lbs not the best. I was worried, but it pulls great. I’m pushing it when the water tank is maxed out, but I will never drive with that much water. If business is good, I’ll be looking to upgrade my trailer in the near future!

just becareful with the tail weight from, specially on your chemical tank.
get an unloader block when you can.
