4 GPM vs. 5.5 GPM

V-twin motor. HONDA GX690, etc. some people try to save money and buy a Harbor Freight Predator v-twin and hook up a gearbox and pump but it’s involved putting together one of those.

Are there just ready to go 5.5 washers already?

2 hours? How big was this driveway? Even with my little 4 gpm I’ve never had a driveway take more than an hour from roll up to paid. I’m mostly all neighborhoods with 2-3 car garages

Yeah, but be aware that companies advertising 5.5/3000 single cylinder units are fudging the numbers. They put out 5.5/2200 more realistically.

I was stupid and bought a 5.5/3500 locally, should have put the extra $500 on the credit card and got the 8.

I did a remote quote on this job and I definitely underbid it but so be it

Gotcha.

Did you just clean this?

And the bottom part also

With a 2.5 I’d say you did pretty good. A 4 or 5.5 would be a huge step up for you

Tell me more

What would you like to know?

Yea thats what imm thinking, at least the 4 gpm will enable me to go twice as fast

Didn’t catch that. Never heard of a V4 engine.

Yea it doesn’t accelerate very well but it gets great gas mileage for a truck

They’re only about a half dozen cars that every had them, and none since the 1970’s. Production wise anyway. I think there are some racing prototypes out there.

Why would you put an aftermarket obsolete engine in a newer truck? Where did you find the engine? I’m curious.

It was just built that way, i’m not sure lol, i was just told it was that way.

We bought it used, so not sure

Ok lol you guys are killing me.

Your truck has an inline 4. My Honda Magna, VFR and ST1100 motorcycles had a v4 engine.
