24v softwash

No, he took a robotics job with BMW at end of last year, so he’s not, at least last time I talked with him several months ago. Someone on one of the FB pw equipment sale sites had a used one for sale the other day. Think they wanted $2900 for it , been used a couple of years. You can but those pumps, but they’re expensive

Thanks for the info!

I currently use a single Remco Fatboy, if I were to purchase another and siamese them together would they both pump at the same rate? I saw he had deleted their pressure switches for a singular switch.

I was also wondering if it would make sense to have one on/off switch running off of a battery selector switch that would allow me to use one or both.

I would put separate switches for the pump, or just use 30amp circuit breakers to switch them on/off or both.
To answer your first part, maybe want to ask Heath @TexasPressureWashing since he had a video of them running together.

We use separate switches

Thanks!

Did you guys have any issues with the control relays or the pressure switches at all?

Yes 12V quality has significantly declined in the last 12 months in my experience as a vendor.

And that is primarily due to the relays? or the switches?

Do you see any way to delete either and use a different method?

I would like to setup something that performs better than just a single 7GPM.

Is there anything else I need to plan for, or is it as simple as wiring it all up and changing the plumbing to accomodate?

Not ready to pull the trigger on a gas system yet, honestly don’t really want to until I need to, based off everything I hear about them.

I’m really interested in this. I wonder if that pump from southeast soft wash is worth the crazy price. They have a 16gpm for $2000 and an 8gpm for $800

Yeah I saw SESW Super 16, which is pretty sweet, however I’d have a really hard time handing over that amount of money for a pump that is not impervious to SH and is what I consider a consumable piece of equipment. even with heads being replaceable, you can have SH leak into the motor, and vapors present that can corrode components.

Heath has the Texas tornado system which is intriguing, and I may end up getting one. I just like building stuff, and also like being familiar with all of my equipment so I can easily repair and make adjustments.

Even with two 7 GPMs you won’t get 14 GPM, but it should be much better. I want the performance that is close to a gas pump, but is more reliable and fairly simple to use.

Yes but it’s messy and voids everything about their design and warranty. I’d rather stop selling them.
