Ok guys, check out the new topics. Not all were added but we do have Stickies capabilities. One of the moderators has to pin the topic though.

What do you mean? a creepy place for suspicious things that we throw to our dogs? I don’t know

Disregard my prior comment. I hadn’t read all the new posts and was just confused by my notification saying it was changed.

Update:

2 new categories added:

I have no problem with Beer or Booze, but I don’t think we need a Beer & Booze category on a professional forum.

Ok, we NEED a “Garbage Bin” category, or “Trash” category, @Jordie

Where we can move threads made by trolls and spammers. Ibs has been moving them into the lounge so that the public doesn’t have to deal with their crap.

Make a Garbage Bin or Trash category and give it the same level requirement or higher as the lounge, and allow us to throw out the garbage.

Please. There seems to be little stomach here for removing the people who are destroying threads. At least give us a way to quarantine the toxic threads without ruining the lounge.

Thank you.

Good idea dan ! Then you can put yourself in it. Lol. You’ve never ruined a person’s thread and neither has IBS? Yeah, and pressure washers do nails and file your taxes for you :joy:

Thanks!

I have been moving some of the irrelevent to the Moderater topic.

You’ll notice the Lounge has been cleaned up a bit.

I have seen that. Thank you sir.

Sounds right but only @Chris can create and delete whole Topic Categories.

Many of these topics are from the beginning. A lot has changed since then in the industry, hasn’t it?

I just thought would have been good to have a category about “mistakes that we make” or “things we do wrong” i.e. showing I did this and that, and this happened to siding or concrete, or even to the machine or anything else within the business for that matter. Another example is I am doing this and this and it’s not cleaning or it’s not pulling soap etc. Guess why I thought about it.

Sounds like a good idea but if someone comes in here quickly to find out how to fleet wash but something someone tried for that isn’t under that category chances are they will not find that when reading that category because it was posted under the mistakes category.
I think it’s best to divvy up everything in its corresponding category based on its topic.

In this case, he will not find how to fleet wash in mistakes category neither, he might find how not to fleet wash if he reads there though

Yea, but most people don’t read a lot or various categories

My theory is the reason I don’t like the ‘Newbie Question’ category

I think they should, I also think it’s more important that categories itself have the content that they describe, so who wants to read through knows what’s there.
