Basically, start to finish what does your typical house wash procedure look like?
I’m just curious as to what everyone does on their house soft wash jobs? Like how do things go down for you. I’m looking to pick up a few tips, ideas, pointers that I don’t already do.
Do you tell the customer to remove everything from under the patio, ect… or do you handle moving everything?
What do you cover up for prep work? (example: electrical outlets)
What do you avoid getting your sh on? (example: stained doors)
Do you spray the chemical on the entire house then rinse off or do you only do the front side first then back side after, ect…?
Have you had any bad experiences with low mix house washes?
Thanks everyone, just seeking as much information as I can. I know everyone does everything differently and that’s the purpose of this thread. I’m curious as to what you guys do so I can learn from it.
You pretty much summed it up.
Roll out water hose, hook up to spigot.
Cobweb dust, tape keyholes and outlets.
Move furniture, if doing the patio ask homeowner to remove decorations, we move furniture.
If there are really bad spots on the walls, you can walk around with a pump sprayer with a higher mix than HW, hit em up real quick
Roll out hoses
Soap one wall rinse, soap another then rinse, etc. All around, doing the concrete as you go (if included)
We also clean the concrete pads under pool pumps and ac units
Finish house wash
With a, HD brush, a spray bottle with hw, and a rag we hand scrub mud dobbers nests. (Spray, dab the drips, scrub, wipe, spray, dab, scrub, etc, you dab to not get muddy drips down the wall)
Do a walk around, collect tape
Put furniture back
Write up the receipt/invoice
Collect payment.
And soon well do 5 arounds after.
This is a two man system for us so you split the list, so that by the time the house wash is done you’re set, just help move the bigger furniture and go.
