XJetter Gives In To DI

7-12 gpm M5DS will use larger orifice to draw chem so pressure will be lower than 6.5-8 gpm X Jet M5. From a quick search, it looks like 8gpm M5DS has an orifice size #20 and M5 orifice #16.

I know I’m still new but I don’t know why everybody bashes the XJET. I both downstreamed and xjet and while packing around a pail does suck it seems easier to me then walking all the way back to trailer to switch my draw hose to freshwater. Just my .02

I wouldn’t say most people “bash” the xjet. It has its place in the toolbox. But day to day, through trial and error, many here have found ds’ing to be more efficient overall for basic house washing.

Walk back to the truck = dwell time and free cardio, lol.

Trust me, downstreaming is MUCH easier than hauling around the bucket and wrangling all that hose. Rinsing just involves switching to the rinse tip on the jrod, no need to pull the hose out.

I Xjetted until last week, what a difference.

That sure beats lugging the buckets around. I think @squidskc did a video with an Xjet and was pulling through 100 ft. with no booster. I could be mistaken as its been a while back and my memory isn’t what it used to be.Lol

Most of us here soft wash, so that isn’t an option for us.

You have an XJet? then you hold in your gun that which turns off the chemical. If you quick connect at the gun you can switch out nozzles. Apply solution with XJet DS or JROD or tip and replace with your existing XJet to rinse. No suction will occur from your mix tank while you’re rinsing through the small orifice of the XJetM5. It takes me 12 seconds to run out of solution running 200’ of hose.

BTW, my SH bill has gone down nicely since I switched.
