XJET M5 Nothing But Love for this

Ok will someone please get the crayons out and explain something to me…can I take my XJETM5 and remove the “nozzle” or “tip” or whatever you want to call it, and pair the suction part of it with a different tip? Like maybe the soap tip on my jrod while still getting the same hot mix that the xjet provides? Will I need any kind of adapter or kit? I don’t have a 12 volt and my xjet mists really bad so I can’t shoot high up. I’ve tried researching this and I must be too dense to figure it out.

So just to clarify, the picture that’s up in this thread a bit that shows the suction part of the XJET followed by a short lance, followed by the jrod, would that pull the same chem strength as compared to using the XJETM5 without modifications?
My M5 mists REALLY bad. I wonder if I need to open the fins a bit like someone suggested, or maybe get the next size up. I got the one they recommended for my GPM.

Correct. The lance will actually help with the misting quite a bit. Do what is pictured above or do what I did in the thread and see for yourself. You’ll also be able to use your jrod. What’s after the injector won’t affect the chemical you pull.

@anon37135677 did a nice job of explaining the mod in his thread. I chose to put a QC on the suction part because I like to be able to put different length wands on in case I need more distance without having to daisy chain them. I encourage you to do the mod and try the jrod on it.
