I’ve never used ethier but I have posted about stucco I want to get a lot of suds which tnot a problem but I want all most foam…ANYONE EVERY WASHED A HOUSE WITH SIDING LIKE WOODEN SHINGLES??? The highest part is like 40 ft I’m not a fan of ladders so he just wants it sprayed off any advice

I personally don’t care for the x-jet because I don’t wanna carry a bucket of chemicals around with me. I have the m5ds twist nozzle and the j-rod 4way. I downstream everything from my trailer and have never had a problem with any 2 story house. If I can’t get a mix strong enough to do the job by downstreaming I use my 12v roof pump to hit the really bad spots.

I use the same house mix for it as I do everything else, typically 2 gallons of SH 3 gl of water. May go 3 gl SH and 2 water if it’s real dirty. My machine (8gpm) will clean 4 stories high but not sure what machine you’re working with…
The problem with the cedars shake siding is you get all kinds of bug nests, mud dobbers, and crap stuck behind the siding and it just keeps rinsing out debris for what seems like an eternity. It’s so bad that I now charge a whole lot extra if they have any of that on their home.

I would never use a xjet. I know some of the guys love them but I don’t see why you’d want to carry around a bucket of SH. Personally if you can’t get something to pull when DS out of straight SH then hit it with your roof pump as stated above.

Is that ratio for downstreaming or your 12v pump system?
I have a 4gpm 4200 psi unit if I wanted to pump chemicals do they make a 12v pump For a 4gpm unit? The only pump I could find was 5.5gpm. Thanks sorry if this is dumb question new to this.
Justin welcome to the forum. I think you’re confusing a softwash pump with a pump for a pressure washer. They’re two different kinds of pumps. But for your rig you’d either want to add a downstream injector after your pump or use an xjet bucket system near the gun.
