Hello! I have a 4gpm machine and am using a
J-rod with 2540,0040, 2510,0010 tips. Would a
X-jet be a good investment and are there any other tips you would recommend me getting? Thank you for any advice!
If you don’t have a 12v system yet an Xjet will do until you can get one.
Depends what you want/need to clean.
Also, the M5 Twist nozzle for downstreaming is downright beautiful.

I have to disagree. I know I’m probably the minority on this one but the M5DS just mists WAY too much for my liking. The overspray was incredible. With my JROD tips I can reach everything, and more, that the M5 would reach but with half of the overspray. It was so bad I gave mine away to a member here lol. Not to mention no high pressure with the M5 so if I want to stop and cut in corners on the driveway I have to switch tips anyhow so might as well just keep using what I’ve got.

Put your J-Rod in a vise and cut it in half keep the 40 tips throw the others away so you are not tempted to use them you don’t need an X jet you don’t need the m twist you do not need a 12 volt system
