X-Jet Help

Hi ,

I am still very new to X-Jet. Can someone explain to me how it all works. Is it a nozzle attachment?

Where is the best place to buy them?

Hey Nate-- All of the distributors of the PWRA sell the x-Jet. What it is is a quick connect adjustable nozzle that connects to the end of your wand where your Nozzles go. Pop off the Nozzle and pop in the x-jet nozzle that comes with a hose that goes into a bucket where your cleaning solutions are.

The advantages of an X-jet over downstreaming is you can put up the Chemicals much stronger which for us is what we want because we know chemicals do the work----but we can rinse at a very high volume. Down streaming others swear by but thats for another discussion.

If you call any Distributor of the PWRA ask them about the M5 X-jet(That’s the twist adjustable one) and what size Powerwasher you plan on using with it and they will tell you what needs to be done.

Here’s a list of the PWRA Distributors PWRA Member Benefits | Pressure Washing Resource

In my case I buy from multiple distributors because we go thru alot of things. I bought 4 M5 X-Jets from Jason last year who just became a PWRA distributor. This is his link here KECSupplies.com

Have to throw this in just to let you know. Join the PWRA and you get discounted prices on many items that if your like us the benefits of becoming a PWRA member more then saves us $$$ money because we use our benefits.

Good luck:)

Ok great,

thank you very much for your guidance. As of right now my machines are only 4.5 gallons per minute… I wont be able to afford more equipment until next year.

8 gallons per minute really makes a huge difference eh? I am excited to get more machines… I wish I bought them to begin with.

x-jet works great with smaller machines as well. With any type of machine you can put up at least 33% Pure SH for example. The M5 X-jet will run you in the range of $150 and it will be one of the best investments for the least amount of money you can make.

I’m not looking to start a debate but just wanna add that you will also go through more HW mix with an X jet as opposed to DSing. At least that was my experience when I tried it.

We switched to dsing. Tote those buckets around and tangle that hose up enough and you will wanna throw that xjet into traffic. Made a lot of money with the x jet, but for way cheaper and easier on the bones you could downstream. Just an opinion.

You could also make your house mix very week with the x-jet and use it like a down streamer without corroding your hoses etc. For us the main difference is x-jetting you can make the mixture much stronger then downstreaming and have to deal with less hose corrosion etc. But most important for us is tue strength that downstreaming just can’t do. Also downstreaming you have soap all thru out the PW hose which you have to deal with.

Comes down whatever works best for you. Down streamed for 5 yrs and have been x-jetting for the last 12-13 yrs and never went back.

Started out with the M-Jet, but found it frustrating carrying around an extra hose and bucket. Switched to down-streaming, but kept having to replace the injector every other week which was equally frustrating. Went back to the M-Jet last year on house washes/chemical application for concrete and have gotten pretty comfortable with it.

Get a dolly/hand truck. We have 10 gallon tanks on them with 30’ of x-jet hose on each one as well. There easy to wheel around. We also have a shut off valve on the end of the hose so we can pop off the M5 x-jet and use it like a twist nozzle. That goes from a fan spray to a zero degree spray in no time.

It’s a matter of preference really but to me speed is an issue and the X-Jet provided that with great results.

Thanks John, that’s a great idea.
