Worst roof growth I've seen in a long time :-0

3 stories up and I’m fairly certain this garden has been fertilized :scream_cat:

What you using to get it off?

Scraping? Or just spraying and leaving it? Or spraying and rinsing?

I always spray and leave it. Been hit or miss though, some houses look great, others require a second treatment

No flowers? What a rip

You should brush what ya can off with a simple broom and always brush DOWN meaning with the roof. Never up.

The growth was rooted under the shingles, had to put a scraper on a mr long arm and hit it up with hot roof mix 3 times. It was a bear, but the customer was really appreciative and tipped really well

Couldn’t walk this roof, had to work from a ladder…exhausting.

Wow Gary that looks like a pita. Lol… I am going to buy a bandit setup next spring… I cant wait to start getting into roof cleanings. They are very profitable jobs !

They are very PITA jobs…sometimes.

After going into a lot of roofs the last 2 months I’ve become real picky on the roofs we do. Almost half of the roof inquiries we get I don’t even offer an estimate because it’s super high pitch and a bunch of knooks or crevices, different angles at high pitches, or the front porch or lower level sticks out further so the second story is a pita to get up to because ladder angles to far out.

But the easy ones are REAL profitable

I agree. I’ve just been pricing according to the difficulty level and pita score. So far I have priced myself out of any of the complex roofs.

Check out this Scorpion drone. They were at the Huge Convention this year. I didn’t even ask the price.

‘‘Tis the future. Hopefully the machines let us control the controller for a few years before they take it over autonomously

Hey Jesus, you may want to do a little research and put it together youself, you should be able to save some $$. Plus you’ll have some idea if something goes wrong at a job site.

My wife bought me a drone for Christmas a couple years ago…great thoughtful gift, though i returned it…should have kept it though :-/

I’m a simple man with many attachments, brooms, brushes, handles, poles, scrappers, tools in general…this stuff was some well rooted gamma enhanced alien growth, been growing since 1924…

Good to know :+1:

It’s been crazy busy with all the mildew, though I’m not complaining, rather be busy than bored ;>)

probably about 10k haha!

i havent made to jump to full time yet, but ive been staying busy on the weekends. good to know more people in the area, i already know 2 other cleaners here in town, i introduced myself and asked what the going rate is around town, i didnt want to over bid and i also dont want to ruin the industry with $50 driveway cleanings and $99 house wash, after asking a couple of guys i determined im right in the same price point as most.
