Wood Restoration Training?

Hello, I’m looking for training on wood restoration and was wondering if anyone knew of any upcoming training classes in the coming months?

I’ve contacted the deck restoration institute and waiting on their reply regarding training.

Here is a post I made awhile back. While I am new at this, I have done a lot of research, and the post got a lot of positive feedback from more experienced members here.

Practicing on Wood

@Racer thanks for the tips! I thought oxalic acid was necessary after sodium perc but it would certainly save time if it wasn’t. [50%20PM] The fence I posted originally is newer, this one is around 16 years old and has never been touched. This pic was taken after rinsing sodium perc and prior to the oxalic application. I am assuming the 8 oz per gallon mix you mentioned would work even better!

@Racer is very knowledgable on the topic and you will find a lot of information on the forum. I think one of the best things you can do is practice on your own fence, or a family member’s and learn that way. Its what worked for me at least. I know j racenstein does pressure washing training. Not sure about wood but it might be worth looking in to. Another option is to go find some old pallets and free furniture on Craigslist and just see what you can do.
