Hah. Me too I’m about to be 49 and we had our only child 2.5 years ago. My wife was told she was sterile 20+ years ago so it was a true miracle.
I’ll tell you a little secret. I have been a stay at home dad the whole time and it’s been a ton of work but the rewards and joy are immeasurable.

Wow thats great im happy for you!! Man i feel for you my wife is a stay at home mom. I know thats hard but im jealous that she gets to see every step in our kids growth they dont stay small for long and my sons 22 months old and my daughter is i months. Shes already getting her teeth man it has flew by.

Yeah if it still exists it will be enough for 1 credit by then. If that. I’m going back to work and it will be part time pressure washing in the spring. Once I build it up it a college fund!
Amen to that time will tell might be called go fund me by then!! Donut is fixing to have a blast!! I was a stay at home dad for two winter’s never watched so munch Scooby Doo and my little pony!! Scooby is still her favorite and I have a new respect for stay at home mom’s and single mom’s!!

Enjoy every moment and take tons of pictures. They grow up fast. My oldest was in diapers last week and now I put her on the school bus every morning. Or so it feels like last week.

I had to look that up. It was actually Flavor Flav that did that. But I can see the similarities.
I’m not much into rap, and definitely not into following the personalities or styles of the artists. I don’t think I’d even recognize Dr. Dre if I saw a picture of him.
Actually, same goes for even the artists I like. I’m pretty sure I would recognize Bono, Paul McCartney, and Mick Jagger… and that guy from Aerosmith. But that’s about it

Funny story about recognizing celebrities. Not to take this thread off the rails!
I was in Fargo North Dakota heading to a wind farm in the middle of the night. Like 2 am because someone got hurt and I had to drive there from Illinois…
Anywho Fargo ND AT 2 am I decided to stop at the flying j and fill up and take a bathroom break. As I was filling up 3 large tour busses pulled up to the diesel fuel islands. The rock star kind of buses.
I finished filling up and went inside to the bathroom and there was about 7 guys in the bathroom with crazy haircuts. Like side of the head shaved then hair down to their back.
I walked up to the urinal and started going with them and I asked “are you following the band” and the guy next to me said “we are the band”
Me- “oh neat what band”?
Guy- “Motley Crew” with a questioning look on his face…
So I took a leak with motley crew and had no idea.
Really would have been neat to get a selfie with them all standing at the urinals lol

I met justin Wilson at the airport once. Know some nascar guys. Rode 4 wheelers with tony Stewart and tony Gibson at Hatfield McCoy trails. Got to be the gas catch man for loy Allen jr twice and for too know travis Carter and a few others back in the 90’s. I know my dad, and he’s about the most interesting man you could ever meet.
