Looking to get some information on wiring a new build. I have a gx390 electric start mo flo, a flow pro actuator to, a 8gpm electric start gx690, and a remote manifold (12v 3 way tee jet and 1/4 solenoid on remote) gx 690 comes with battery. I have an additional blue top dual purpose optima battery. What would be best way to wire everything?
Tie two 12v lithiums together and use the charging coil on the 690 to charge it and I’d also get a 120v charger tied into the batteries to plug in at night. Works for me but I don’t run a 12v soft wash I just use the lithium for electric start and run a 3/8” hose for window cleaning.
It trips me out when I see an all new shiny rig. Like that thing is immaculate!
Are you trying to run everything off a single 12v source? With a nice new build like that with the money you already have in it, you should just opt for the lithium pack and get a fused distribution block that’s rated for the highest amps you’re pulling (probably the started on that 690). If it were me, I’d have a main breaker off the battery, then individual fused lines going to each thing you’re powering with the appropriate size fuse. As mentioned, also hard wire a charger to it so you can simply plug it in at night. If you go lithium, make sure you get the right charger type
