Wiring FlowPro

I may have screwed up.

I am trying to wire my FlowPro and now realize my remote is on/off. The TeeJet valve I have been using is open with voltage and auto returns to closed when voltage is turned off.

I don’t suppose there’s a way to wire it to this basic remote controller? If not what inexpensive remote should I be using, not trying to fork over another $200 for some fancy remote.

Not sure to be honest….i just bought the package with the remote system included. Plug n play and back to work….maybe one of the other guys might know? Sorry im no help.

Are you trying to operate the actuator with your current remote?

Yeah, problem is this remote receiver is an ‘on/off’ type while the Flow Pro needs continuous power to operate, then when you are done just flick the power switch on the box.

I just need the remote box, I guess I can contact Flow Pro Monday and see what they think. It also has to power my strobe on the roof.

I’d just buy the kit…..you won’t regret it, believe me.

Guess I’d have to send back the actuator then

I’m sure Judd will take care of that for you….just explain to him the situation.

Unless I’m missing something. You’d just put 12v from your battery to the ± on dc input and then your ± dc outputs go to the valve and strobe light. Push on, voltage goes to valve and light. Push off, voltage is cut to both

That’s the problem, the Flow Pro actuator needs voltage opening and closing. The current valve has auto close when voltage is removed

I you need a new remote here is the one i would get . And wire it up with all 4 wires properly Two to power and two to the light and valve.

That’s for AC power, isn’t this a 12v system?

If you go to the link you will see dc selection there

My bad, didn’t see that :+1:

Thanks for the link! Wish I had seen this before I went ahead and ordered one from Flow Pro😑

If anyone can take a pic of the receiver wiring I would appreciate it.
