I am trying to wire my FlowPro and now realize my remote is on/off. The TeeJet valve I have been using is open with voltage and auto returns to closed when voltage is turned off.
I don’t suppose there’s a way to wire it to this basic remote controller? If not what inexpensive remote should I be using, not trying to fork over another $200 for some fancy remote.
Not sure to be honest….i just bought the package with the remote system included. Plug n play and back to work….maybe one of the other guys might know? Sorry im no help.
Yeah, problem is this remote receiver is an ‘on/off’ type while the Flow Pro needs continuous power to operate, then when you are done just flick the power switch on the box.
I just need the remote box, I guess I can contact Flow Pro Monday and see what they think. It also has to power my strobe on the roof.
Unless I’m missing something. You’d just put 12v from your battery to the ± on dc input and then your ± dc outputs go to the valve and strobe light. Push on, voltage goes to valve and light. Push off, voltage is cut to both
well let us start with how you want it to work. Think of those power is just that power 12vdc The next two spots are just a switches on/off or off/on depending . That can have can also control direction of a valve having which way your valve is setup. I personally would need to see the wiring diagram for the valve to be able to tell you how to wire them up. Since I built my set up not bought it together. those flowpro setup are way over priced for my pockets.
What are yall paying these days for a flowpro ? We’ve got high pressure remotes that supply 2 different chems @ 1250 psi then Rinse at 2000 psi to wash semi trucks and regular vehicles, farm equipment etc, etc. There $1300 a pop. $1800 a piece if you desire 3 chems, such as a wax.
I paid $170 for the actuator and printed mounting block. I realized my receiver won’t work with it so after talking with the guy at Flow Pro I bought a waterproof power switch, receiver and two remotes for about $130.
