Wire pushed through hose to tip

fired up a new pressure washer today and cleaned my mother garage floor with it and swapped to a wand to do some furniture and after 10 mins or so my fan went wonky. I took tip off and pulled this wire out of the quick connect. Any idea what this is?

That’s the golden ticket…you my friend just won a free trip to Pressure Pros factory in China

Keep that. You’ll need it to unstick you ball in your DS injector in the future. And unplug your nozzle tips,if it’s small enough. Human error from the factory,I’m assuming. I’ll install my new o- rings with something similar …

This one is sure enough a pressure pro? Should I just return it?

It came out your wand. It did not travel all the way from your machine and all them qc fittings, hose reel and your gun.

At the very least call them to report and document it.

That does make the most sense. Puts me on the fence about it none the less. We picked this one up at a good price(probably why there is an issue) to have one to wheel around.

I’m guessing someone went and put an o-ring for your 1/4 qc and goofed and dropped the wire in your wand. Rattled around in there for a while and finally it plugged your tip.

Don’t get me wrong, my tips plug up all the time. But it’s always human error. Always gravel, sand, grit etc. From my helpers dropping the hose or lances in the parking lot. That wire is to big to travel through all that …correction, not always human error. Every so often it’s an o-ring blowing apart

Appreciate the help, bud. That makes the
Most sense to me.

Anytime Sir. I would complain and get it documented ,like @Redjess said. You should be fine though man…

I wouldn’t show up at the pressure pro gettin store with your bags packed for your free trip to China though, like @Patriotspwashing suggested.

Lol I’m just gonna take some of the experienced advice I ignored and send this unit back and go get me a reputable belt drive machine.

Smart idea if you got the funds. Lot of ppl don’t have or take that option/advice. You’ll be happy with that decision .:+1:

Definitely…belt drive.
