Wind Turbine Pressure Washing Bidding?

Hello everyone at PWR!

I’m really hoping someone here can help me out. I got a call to pressure wash 60 wind turbines that are not put up yet. They are all on the ground in peices. They want a bid to clean them in 2 ways.

  1. Just high pressure water
  2. Soap and scrub

There is a water source on site and they will provide the lift needed for the job.

I just have no clue how to bid this!!

They sent me an email with all of the dementions so i can figure out the square footage but eve then not sure how much to bid per square foot.

Any help here would be very very much appreciated. :slight_smile:

if everything is on the ground why would you need a lift? Do you have any pics?

Everything is on the ground but the pieces are still tall so the lift is to get the top of the pieces. And I dont have any pics.

I recently saw a magazine article on this but don’t remember the mag. Maybe you can do a Google search and get luck enough to find it.

First time ive heard of this. Hwo would you even go about pricing that, per hour?

Make sure you use your solar powered pressure washer.

That sounds really cool, for the pricing see if you can test clean some and see what it will take then price from there.

I would reply with an hourly price and see where that goes.
