Will send Canadian back bacon

Hey guys (and gals),
I’ve been around for a while but some might not recognize me because I don’t post too often. I started my business late last summer and I’m hoping to go full time this year…or as close as possible. I have a couple residential jobs already booked for April and I am marketing as much as possible via Door hangers and online for residential, Mailchimp for property management/owners, and currently putting together a brochure of commercial services to drop off to local businesses in person.
Anyway, I am in search of a mentor. More specifically, someone I can call when I am on site with a question and to run some questions by regarding equipment etc. I am not looking to bug, and most likely won’t call often, but with the experience I have, and all of the reading time on here, I know I could still use the help and guidance. I have spoken to a couple members on here through direct messaging, but I don’t wanna ask anyone specific and make them feel obligated. If you are willing to help or have any questions about what equipment I have etc. Feel free to message me directly or just reply right here. Keep in mind I would be calling from a Canadian number… The city I live in borders Detroit Michigan.
…And yes, I can and will send some Canadian back bacon upon request…lol.

I would help you but you live in a completely different environment meaning you deal with completely different issues.

Exactly. I appreciate you reaching out though. Enjoy your weekend!

I’d love to have a mentor like that, too!
Is anyone in WA or OR willing to become my mentor, please?

Chris, where are you located? I’m in Portland, OR. I’m not mentor material yet but I could give you a few tips.

Hello Tim, thank you very much. I am from Vancouver, BC.
Funny thing, I was watching your videos on YouTube last year when I started to enter this industry, I was thinking, it would be nice to buy you a dinner when we are on the way to California for winter vacation.
But that didn’t happen. Maybe I was afraid to trouble you, or maybe I was just too lazy. Anyway, we did our trip to San Diego earlier, from Jan to Feb. We chose to drive through coastal highway to CA, and after about one month in San Diego, we just missed our home in Vancouver, and the weather was terrible. So, on the way back, we did not make any stop. I should have.
Anyway, thank you so much for stepping out. I do know your number from your website. Will give you a call later this afternoon.

My cell is 1+270-293-5170. I’m in the US Central Time zone and I’ll answer whatever questions I can. If I don’t know, I’ll tell you. I don’t always have my phone on me when I’m washing but I do check it often. Hope that helps.

Thanks @Steve! I really appreciate it. I’ll save your number and will keep in mind the time difference. If there is anything I can send or do for you, shoot me a PM.

I have a friend in Toronto who helped me out a lot years ago, so I’ll gladly return the favor.

Hey fellow Vancouverite! I know this is an old post, hoping this comment will grab your attention. I am just starting out in the pressure washing game, spending most of my time this year learning what I can in preparation for next year. You said you were looking for a mentor in one of your posts, did you ever find one? If your business took off and you have stayed with pressure washing would you consider mentoring someone or just giving them some tips starting out? I’ll be renting equipment soon to try and do some houses for free to get experience and pictures to build things with. Hope this message reaches you. Thanks!
