Why is there color blotches on my concrete driveway?

I already pressured washed the driveway (no red tip, 3000 psi), here is some photos of my problem:

2 hosted at ImgBB — ImgBB - Some concrete discoloration (you can see lighter spots and darker, this is the main problem)

Is there any way to fix this? Some people were suggesting using muriatic acid, but anyone know some proven solutions if they exist?

Here are some additional photos:

Looks like tire marks to me…

Get a new pressure washer. 2.5 gpm aint gonna cut it

Not the tire marks but the dark and light spots that contrast. This stays even when dry after a rinse.

Using 2.8gpm isn’t enough?

Whats the issue though? Mineral deposit? Concrete layer has unevenly come off?

Looks to me that there’s possibly a skim coat on top that’s failing.
And, perhaps, when the concrete was poured a plastic tarp was placed over it to prevent it from getting wet (say from a rainstorm). The awkward light blotches mimic what that looks like to me.
But, I’m not a concrete expert. Regardless, I doubt you did anything to cause that unless you used some crazy acid to clean/dissolve it.

You don’t have to use a photo hosting service, just click on the picture icon under the window.

Also some of that in the pic is just the magnesium in the concrete showing through, nothing you can do about that. I had a customer ask me to wash their back porch that was a year old and it looked worse than that so I told them it wouldn’t look any different.

Looks like you took off the top “cream” coat.
