Who uses Univar for SH

What are you guys paying though Univar?

Looking to switch from a local pool supply that I was paying just around $3 a gallon. Usually twice a year Menards 12.5 will go on sale for BOGO, or $1.79 a gallon. ( I usually buy whatever they have when it does)

I just got a quote from univar and man does it still seem expensive. For a 330 gallon tote it comes out to $1.80 gallon plus $70 delivery comes out to $2 per gallon plus they want a $1200 deposit on the tote.

For drums

1 drum = $2.80 gallon

4 drums= $ 2.47 per gallon

9 drums = $1.88 gallon

$70 delivery fee. and a minimum of $500 order or a $100 fee tacked on, if picking up you can only pick up 1 drum if you don’t have a hazmat license.

I’ve contacted other local suppliers but they are all weird about delivering to a home office, and pick up charge of $50 and only 1 drum… so it came out to $3 a gallon.

I pay $2gal and take my tank to the place and they fill it up. Where are you located?

Michigan, I’d love to find a place to fill up. Unsuccessful so far

Where in Michigan r-u?

West Side Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids

If you were closer to me I could have offered a place. If you call Univar, (talk with a sales rep) they will get you connected to one of their clients that distribute.(that’s how we found ours) Hope this helps…

Call Haviland USA or Lily Products in Grand Rapids. Haviland should have what you need.

I’ve called Hivaland. They are the ones that won’t deliver to a residence and with pick up it comes out to $3 a gallon. I know they will , but the sales rep on my account says they won’t,
