I am still basically cash or cheque, but more people have been asking about using cards; usually owners renting out properties that don’t live here.
Just weighing the pros and cons of these systems and how much I will actually get charged in the end.

I use the square app to take CC and record all payments. Super easy to use and allows you to send payable invoices through email. The basic card reader is free and each CC transaction cost 2.65% if you don’t have a monthly plan.

I’m not real sure what Kelsey has over in that area I know there’s some in portofino but it’s www.vacasa.com. If yal wanted to stay in mirimar or Destin there’s a couple for $99 a night on the beach but I’m sure she has a few out in the Navarre Pensacola area. I’ll check later on if you want me to.

Dang that sucks. Ya it links them to my PayPal. I hate when they do it because its a 3% charge. I get paid in checks and cash alot but some do pay with card. I try to avoid it. If they ask if a accept card i say “ya or check, checks are easier”. And they will usaully go in a write one.
We are taking a dive trip out of Pensacola with my local dive shop. Destin and Miramar is a little to far to have to drive in. If they had anything closer to Pensacola we’d definitely be interested. Thanks for checking.

Well big things on the horizon. The property mgmt co I referred you to just bought out Wyndham vacation rentals and now have 230,000 properties across the U.S. and other countries.
They also bought out 10 HOA management groups here in the panhandle and are working on Homeaway
