So i softwashed my house today. 3gal SH 2water 5oz elemontor. DS with 4gpm machine. Jrod nozzels for 4gpm. The one side of my garage (which had the most mildew) has a white chalky film after drying. Vinyl siding as well. I washed and rinced the same on all 4 sides. Did i need another rinse pass?
Sounds like oxidation
Ask the almighty magnifying glass
I did the finger test and nothing prior.
Are you still pulling soap even with a rinse tip?
Not on that wall as i used the soap tip but pulled the soap line out of the bucket. It doesnt look like oxidation from what i have watched videos on. I will try it again tomorrow. Maybe brush it
Just post some pics if u have if not get some tomorrow
Will do
Probably, what color siding?
It is like a pistachio green
Why? Your wife picked it out?
I’ve had same issues on green and red siding…white chalky residue but not oxidized siding. I went back a few days later after it had rained and it was all gone
It might be the dead and oxidized algae growth that wasnt rinsed well enough
Sounds like you may be pulling soap still.
I had the line removed out of the bucket. I am pretty sure it was from not.rinsing enough. Quick hit again and it was gone. Thank u for all the help everyone.
You need to reapply your house wash mix and then rinse thoroughly. It sounds like you didn’t rinse enough or it dried on the siding. If it’s hot and sunny on that side of the house it will dry very quickly. In the summer months I soak the siding before soaping and after.
