Which Pressure washer would you buy

I have read so many post and you guys always give wonderful information on here. But i Noticed pricing has really increased over the past year on pressure washers. So i figured i would ask and see what you guys thought would be the best investment for 3 to 4k on a pressure washer. “or maybe something in the 5k range is going to be a better bang for the buck” .Is the General pump better than the comet pump? Should I stick with Honda vs vanguard engine? It would be used for mostly Residential Flatwork and with a good surface cleaner. I’m looking for 5GPM to 8GPM with cleaning power from 19k and above. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you building or wanting a ready to go setup?

And you’ll spend $19k?

I’m going to build the setup myself so just looking for info on the best pressure washer . I’m really feeling the 8GPM PW is going to speed things up . Unless a 10gpm is the way to go but i didn’t want to put more than maybe a 200 gallon water tank on a trailer

Udor pump
Honda engine
You’ll be set

8 gpm is what I’d go with.

I don’t know what they go for now, but @racer turned a few of on to:

BCE

It’s probably his brother in law or something and he gets a fat kickback. LOL just playing, it was decently priced and reliable for at least 2 seasons now, so no complaints. If racer got a kickback I would be happy, saved me some loot (shipped for free - that was quite a savings).

I’m always good with someone getting a kick back if they lead you in the right direction. and @racer knows what he talking about for sure

I wish. I’m still happy with mine though. Thinking of buying another.

I would go with Honda instead of Vanguard. Honda has a better reputation in this industry. Udor are the best pump and priced as such. I like gear drive because they are easier for me to swap pumps or motors. Get a good unloader too. The unloader will go 1st before the motor or pump.

Something along these lines
Water Dragon 8.0@3500 Gear Drive Cold Water

w/ Udor Pump, Udor Gear Reduction Drive, and **[GX690 Honda engine

This is what I bought, after long research. With shipping to Fl from NC. I belive is the best bung for your buck.
I have 4, 5.5 and 10 gpm all belt driven. I like belt driven. I had 2 gear units and one direct. For small space they good. If you have the space belt driven.

Good for you. Diego told me someone in Florida bought 8 units. Was that you?

Thank you for your suggestion.
I bought only one 10gpm. I do a lot of pool decks ( washed for bonding primer and stained or painted) and also driveways for painting or sealing.
Diego was very easy to deal with and the price was more than fair with shipping to my door. Good people. I will buy more machines from them.

Really Appreciate all the help fellas , this place is like winning in Vegas with all the information!!

Before my Honda, I had two Vanguards… Can’t complain about the Vanguards. 3000 hrs is about the life expectancy on those engines, Decided to give Honda a shot and I can see why people like them. Better built, seems to be more reliable thus far
