Are you guys using their stainless manifold one for the soft wash hose, or are these good for all the reels?
1520-17-18.
I personally ordered the reel as it comes and when using for soft washing I’ve had no issues. I do rinse the pump and hose out after every job before I drive off. I just wait for the leftover soap to be cleared out my line and then let it run for an additional minute.

You don’t run through the reel, correct? I’m researching reels and came across this. The H5M is for a 5k psi bar but I notice this isn’t stainless.
If ya don’t know, just ask 'em they’ll tell ya! 
Yes, I run thru the reel. Hannay will last about 10 years or so running bleach thru the reel.
Ah, ok. For some reason I was thinking you didn’t. I’m looking at the ss1520-17-18 h5m but have seen where others just run the steel painted ones. I had one start leaking bad after about 2 years of downstreaming. I need to tear it apart and see if I can fix it. Thought maybe the bleach had messed it up so I was leaning toward SS.
Do you always run the 5k psi bar? I’ve read others running 3500psi units ( not sure of your psi) through the 3k psi bar. I’m wondering if the thickness also comes into play with corrosion.
- Non stainless. The manifold can be swapped out easily if needed. New models are riveted. Do you self a favor and drill them out and replace with bolts.
