Where starting my business?

Hi everyone

I’m seeing a lot of power wash businesses in both Florida and north carolina states, Why are there so many companies over there ?

Thanks in advance

Although not technically “Tropical” Southeastern N.C. could be considered a tropical climate area…Fla. for sure.

Low swampy, hot humid, tree shady…Makes me happy, all over my body!..

Those are just the businesses you see, the legitimate ones. Here in Florida, you can park at the gas station for one hour and you will see 5-6 cars and trucks with home depot machines in the trunk or the back, hose wrapped around the cart. Just n hour ago I saw a mini van pulling a trailer with a 2700 psi 2.5 gpm machine on it. That’s it. I can’t believe I still get work every day, but like Randy said, it’s the perfect climate for algae, mold and mildew.

Yep, word on the street is you can’t swing a dead cat without hitting someone that pressure washes in Fla…Getting that way here too it seems…

Yeah, but if I had a dime for every customer who says “the last guy did it for less than half the price but i can’t seem to get a hold of him…”
Lol. Geez, I wonder why???
As fast as they’re in business, they’re out of business. Make your customers feel they received their money’s worth and you will keep busy.

Oh, you and me both Brother!!! We hear it all the time…or how about this one?..(Me) well why don’t you call them back?..(Her) I can’t, they’re in… (Wait For It)…Prison.

I swear that actually happened!

Never ending cycle. I think this is truly a national problem within this Industry. Ride it out and these lowballers disappear and then the new ones pop up the following year. Never ends. A true close loop system…lol

Thanks for all your answers

Do you offered maintenance programs for your residential customers ?

We try to keep in contact with them

Some guys do that especially in the wood restoration side of the Powerwashing industry. What we do us mail all of our customers postcards a couple of times a year as a reminder kind of thing.

Funny! I think so that…
