Where have I been?

Hey gang. Been busy working. Our first annual car show is almost here and that’s kept me busy. Plus my son decided he wanted to run the local short track on Friday nights so I had to get a car, build a roll cage. Build a car hauler. Learn about camber, weight and all manner of racing stuff. I’m now an official NASCAR car owner lol. Street spending about $15k we have the opportunity to win $40 if he places first

Good stuff! Liking the “AC unit” in the racecar

It’s was 100 in the shop that day and I was inside that car trying to get the seat in. I needed air flow lol

more important…have you won $40 yet?

Nope, but we’ve finished top 15. Mom wanted safety over speed. He’s running a 2000 Buick century lol. I told him to make Mom happy and next season we’d get an Audi or mustang

Yep, fun is just beginning. He decides he really likes racing, you’ll need to start working 9 days/week to fund that habit. Speed costs.

You’ve got all that land, go out there and build him a go kart track and get him started on it. 99% of every serious driver start in carts and most the good ones still do in their time off.

I don’t know what those are, are they yams/sweet potatoes? Some of them are huge. I’ve never grown potatoes of any variety.

Those are sweet treats for the deer. sweet taters. Local farms sell the big ones for $50 per ton.
