When a water main breaks during an awning cleaning job

Just went to go rinse this awning and there’s suddenly no water… turns out they broke a water main during construction…not sure what to do now.

They say it shouldn’t take more than a half hour to turn back on… I’ll just keep it wet till they turn it back on.

Hook to a neighbor, ppl should understand ,never mind ,you said water main. lol.
Bet you wish you had a trailer with 350 gallon tote full of water now , Don’t ya ? I’ll be right over buddy.

I’ll bring you my quarry rig as a loaner.

You got that right… all water is shut off in the surrounding area.

I think this is gonna take a lot longer than 30 minutes :man_facepalming:

Kk hurry up!

Is That 30 minutes in Canadian time ?
You might have to go to the Canadian Walmart and buy water if it’s close, or go ask them water guys to fill your buffer tank up.

Yeah we like to take our time…eh…
I just moved everything in to my truck…with no buffer tank :man_facepalming:

I have a tank on my trailer at home but by the time I fill er up and come back I believe the water will be back on here

Wad the no buffer tank just for this job? Or do you not run one normally?

I run 4gpm so it’s rare I need one around here. There’s only 1 area in town that I know I’ll need it. I moved everything off my trailer on to the truck last week and planned on rolling without one until the end of the season. Even when I have one I always dump the water at the end of the job.

Stuck around longer than I probably should have but got it done.
