also, unloader is brand new, green spring.
Did you set it, and if so, how?
i used the m5, tried the surface cleaner, and the jrod to set it by, but it would not increase like it needed to be. i did the trickle out the bypass and set method. i even only used 100ft hose. so, it wasn’t a clogged jrod surf cl or m5. I’ll look and see now if somehow they all clogged simultaneously.
and let me clarify, the 9.3 was working and hitting as high as the 5.5, but later something went wrong with pump.

You really need to research here and figure out how to set your unloader. I’ve posted how about a dozen times. I don’t know all of your problems, but until you set the unloader currently, you can’t address any other problems

i have set it, but when problem arised i tried all of them out of frustration.
You said you set it with a surface cleaner, a M5 and a shooter tip. That’s not how you set it. Set it correctly and see what your results are.
i said i tried to, once problem came into play. i know you use the orifice for the size of gpm, turn unloader nut until just a trickle comes out, then lock it in.
What # tip did you use
a 10, maybe 11 ,I left it home. Im out of town. I did check the valves and all but 1 seem to hold. no broken cages, maybe, maybe a small blade of grass or 2 in it. Hard to say it, was dark. Ill get a few new valves, and maybe orings for them too when i get back.
so, anybody know if 1 valve would jack up the flow. seems to not be much water moving thru pump at all. i even attracted the 5.5 surface cleaner to it just to see what happens and it didn’t do much, not even float.
