I’ve got a 5.6 TS2021 setting around that I was gonna rebuild and make into another skid back up machine. I’m really curious what will happen if I bolt it to an 8hp engine. This would spend most of its life just setting on my trailer and only used when necessary to wash with size 40 orifice tips with the occasional 40 degree size 10 tip to knock green off of some brick steps or a small deck. Stupid or no? The 8hp Predator has a 1" shaft and is $269 and the 13 hp is only $399, so this is mostly driven by curiosity.
It’ll be good for around 1500 psi. Enough to downstream with, I would think.
That’s what I’m hoping for. I think running a surface cleaner at that low is a bit much to ask, but I could prob swing it with good pre/post treatment.
Yeah, I wouldn’t plan on that. But it could be a nice little housewashing machine.
