Going to fix that issue next spring.
****You could also change the nipple and be done with the leak. there are many ways to plumb you machine, the way yours is just lends itself to cracking the nipple easier.

you have a thermal relief on your unloader
Should I take it off and plug it? If so, what’s the benefit?
Thermal relief is designed to pop if the pump overheats - (140 degrees) to port water overboard to attempt to cool pump. should be placed in the plugged water inlet opposite your current water inlet.
best practice if your running a water tank is to bypass water back to tank instead of back to water inlet.

you have a female connector leading from your unloader
Is that bad?

** everyone has there own opinions - I have yet to see a quick connect be pulled apart unless it is not connected correctly - some manufacturers actually send machine out with femal connectors at the pressure outlet. so you do what you feel comfortable with. and the friction loss is negligable on any of the fittings. main concern with that would be the length of hose your using!

I’ve done it a handful of times years ago when washing drilling rigs and dragging hoses up flights of stairs. It stopped happening when I turned the quick connects around the way they’re supposed to be.
