What sunglasses do you wear

Wore the same pair of prescription Ray bans for almost 30 years. Finally got so brittle that they couldn’t put new lenses in then anymore. Now my wife gets me four or five pairs of prescription sunglasses from Zenni. They last about a month or so but they only cost about $20 each

Interesting. I will have to see if I can get prescription lenses put in mine

Excellent customer service and warranty too.

I have costas with blue lens too. I love them. Rick tried them once when we was doing a roof and you can seen the dirt way better. It takes away the glare of the water. He bought him some polarized walmart specials. He said he would never spend more than $20 on sunglasses.

Wish I could wear all these spiffy sunglasses, my astigmatism won’t let me.

I wear the $10 Terminator brand fishing sunglasses from Walmart. They match my uniform :sunglasses::rofl:

I could never wear expensive sunglasses. I would wreck them way too fast. These ones get replaced every couple months.

How that color hat holding up? I went with the white ones but my brim keeps getting dirt wear i touch it.

I have my prescription sunglasses that I use for anything outdoor related. Had them for 15 of years. Changed my regular prescription three times, yet these are still crystal clear lol.
Polarized glass lenses, no anti scratch coating. Use em for washing, fishing, weed whacking, etc. They are a brown tint, which I find lightens light things, and darkens the dark stuff, really makes crap on the houses stand out.
When I am done washing I just squirt them with some eyeglass cleaner and wipe them with as microfiber, never any damage. I really should try to find an exact replacement one day before I need it.

I have glass lens in my Costas but ill probably go with the plastic ones next time. Glass isnt the best for work glasses it could shatter into your eye.

I tried a set of glass-lensed shades once, since I was so tired of scratching up plastic ones. I found they were way too heavy on my nose. How heavy are yours compared to plastic lenses?

Not bleach friendly though. If I let it sit on them eats the mirror tint.

Those aren’t acid friendly either,I’m on my 3rd set of lenses for the O gascans this year…

They are pretty light, I just checked, they are ray bans. I hardly notice them on and they are purposefully big to cover my eye. Ran about $700 I think. Been worth every penny.

My wife would kill me. No, I’d kill me.

I’m just not good enough with accessories that I could keep from destroying them before I got my money’s worth.

Props to those who are.

:+1: ditto

My glasses are about they only thing I am responsible with lol. I guess my pupils are to big for laser treatment, and they are super light sensitive, so if it’s daylight I have my sunglasses on. Extra incentive to keep them in good shape.
I once didn’t have them in northern Alberta on a sunny day in the winter time. I think I still have ghost glare spots from it, so bright.

What model#???

I think you accidentally added an extra zero. If not, you guys weren’t kidding about stuff being really expensive in Canada. I doubt I’ve spent more than $70 on sunglasses in my entire life. I bet I’ve only bought a total of 4 pair ever. I wear them once and remember how much I hate them.
