Question about white staining/ streaking on a tile roof. I tried the search bar and couldn’t find anything😉I clean the lower area of a tile roof and these spots did not come off. Any thoughts as to what it is and how to remove it? I’ll attach 2 photos, first the area that was cleaned and 2 an area that was not cleaned with the same spots.

Its not organic…thats why the sh didnt work. looks like some kind of salt. Calcium maybe. Only one way to find out
Yea I used SH roof mix and no luck. Customer was still happy. Possible add on if I can find something that works.
If I had to guess, I’d say paint runoff, like it rained after they painted the house, but under that downspout it rinsed off better
Those look like cement tiles, not normal roof tiles. I’d be willing to bet it’s calcium. Get a little spray bottle of F9/ and or nmd80 and spray on a couple and see what happens.
I will give that a try. I appreciate all the great advice and tips that you and this forum provide.
