What is the Mix Ratio of SH for House Wash?

SH is Sodium Hypochlorite. Typical house mix is SH, a surfactant (Elemonator), and water. Mix strength varies on every job. On vinyl jobs, try to run 2gal SH, 3gal water, with 1oz per gallon of the surfactant. Avoid dawn. It’s hard to wash off and will cause leakers (runs) after the job is done because you have to rinse so hard (experienced washers know how to avoid this even with dawn.) if that mix isn’t hot enough, you can always add more SH to the mix. Be careful with it tho and give a good rinse to all surrounding plant life before and after the use of SH. This is a good mix for concrete as well. Hope that helps.

Sodium Hydroxide, I believe, is typically used on wood. I haven’t branched out into wood yet, so I’m no expert. It doesn’t bleach out the wood as bad as SH, if I’m not mistaken. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
