What is a best paint stripper for concrete?

I looked at the concrete this morning. Tried turbo nozzle in the corner. Also tries 15 degrees. There was some orange color undercoating and underneath was black. I couldn’t get black removed even with 0 degree nozzle. I tried 5x5 inches spot with 0 degree. She wants it gone so I gave her an option to either use stripper and pressure washing or grind the concrete and pressure washing the dust off. I never done grinding before but she wants me to grind. She said she rather have me grind it. I priced the grinders and they go for about 175/day. The question I would have to you fine fellers, how long would it take to grind the epoxy off the 20x20 concrete pad? I called my friend who is contractor and he said I will be working on it all day and then some with that grinder but I am not so sure. The grinder they have for rent looks like a floor buffer and is real heavy. Does anybody know how difficult of a job the grinding of concrete is?

I’ve never used a machine grinder that you can rent from Home Depot myself but I’ve seen plenty of videos of people doing it when I researched how to properly epoxy a garage floor. From what I’ve seen, it’s a SLOW process. Much slower then let’s say a handheld angle grinder.

She needs a surface prep company! You’ll be wasting, her & your time renting a home depot machine. No offense man. A professional machine weighs over 300 lbs + Have her contact a garage flooring or surface prep company, if that’s epoxy on her patio

I hate to say it, but this is not a job for a guy that pressure washes. Best thing you can do is google a company in the area that does this line of work.

Homeowner said that she tried couple of concrete companies and they wouldn’t even talk to her without her having them come in and do the whole grinding, polishing and re-finishing with epoxy. But I am thinking I will have to pass on the job. Seem like a time consuming job for not that much payout although I really wanted to help her.
