I know I’ve seen you on the forum but can’t recall your handle. Anyway at the Pirate Cove Car Wash your cards were scattered and upside down. I fixed them for you. Also they look like they got wet. Might want to replace the batch

It looks good! If you’re going through VistaPrint, spend the extra $10 and have them do “spot UV” on your logo. It really makes it pop, and adds texture in people’s hands. I’ve had multiple people remark on how nice my cards are just because of the spot UV, and it was like $65 total for 1000 cards.

Finally getting around to this redesign. I’m floundering. I like graphic design, but I’m no designer.

I know you just had them redone, but for your next redo, you might consider getting a shorter domain name. Something like PW317 dot com. Then get a google apps email to go along with it, you could do “nick@pw317.com”, or info@…, sales@…, etc.
My wife and I both have custom url emails, alex@… and brittany@…, as well as the general inbox that forwards to my email: info@… it all costs us like $6/month total for practically unlimited storage from gmail. (Edit: actually, I think we slipped into the apps program when it was still free, so we don’t pay anything for those emails. But if you signed up now, I think it’s around $6/month)

Or redirect like I do from Texaspw to Texas-pressurewashing - I own both domains.
My truck and cards all have Texaspw on them as it’s easier to remember at a glance.

Yes, a redirect makes a lot of sense if you’re going to change url’s. You could eventually phase out the old URL if you wanted to, but still keep it active as a redirect for a few years in case anyone still has old cards or whatever.
yes! i want to change me email and website but everything i have including all the marketing material and my truck have the long stuff. When i rewrap my truck and reprint everything that is for sure on my list

I use a redirect right now since I changed my domain last year but customers still have my old business cards with my old business name on it. When they search my old url, it redirects to my new one. After 2 years I’ll delete the old url and only have my new one.
I agree though. Short domains are better especially for memory. Mine is not long but not short either. I may change the URL down the road
Absoflippinlutely. And the keyword content of the domain name has practically zero impact on SEO now, so there’s no point even from that perspective.

I was wondering about that recently. Are you pretty sure on that? Not doubting you at all. Just was thinking recently if I needed to change my domain name to have some keywords in it.
