What does your business card look like? POST THEM UP

No one gave me a hard time…Eco clean…Ecowash totally different …I definitely wasn’t trying to have a similar name to anybody but it doesn’t surprise me with as many pressure washing companies start up and close up everyday

Unless the logo is trademarked and copyrighted it has no real protection if the name is not 100% the same. Has to be distinctive, (hand sketched)

A slogan is way easier to get protected, a logo is nearly impossible

So rain drops with green lettering wouldn’t even come close to being able to copywriter/tm

I can only speak to Texas, but you can have two companies with basically the same name but one is LLC and the other is Corp. My company name was not originally intended for power washing but something else entirely and it was just easier (or lazier) to use it getting started. Looking to create another LLC or DBA with something else (which in Texas DBA’s are a free for all unless trademarked, but it would be rather dumb to use a name too similar and have customers confused).

When I managed Mattress Firm we had a competitor with a similar name and customers would get confused. They’d call me wanting to know when their bed was getting delivered and why it was late I’d look them up in the computer and they wouldn’t even be in our system. I convinced a couple to cancel their order and buy from me lol

Well hopefully people won’t get us confused… I’d like to think that we’re in different markets seeing as how he’s 175 miles away from me.
Not saying I wouldn’t travel 175 miles for the right job but I’m not advertising or aiming for that market… nor would I imagine he’s aiming for the Charleston market.

First cards. Waiting on logo design from fivver. What do you guys think. Done on visvistaprint

The social media links and your name and title is too small

Thanks @DoubleH for your input. I will work on it
Any other pointers are very much appreciated

New business card magnets came in! I dropped snow removal from them so when I do jobs far away I don’t have to explain that “I don’t service that area for snow” each time.

I made mine super plain and simple.

I like the blank white space. It makes them look fancier for some reason.
