What do you guys think of this machine

Are you on the mobile app or the desktop version? I see no settings that I can change for the desktop version. Same as Tim4, I thought everyone saw it this way.

I’m on Tapatalk app on my phone

Hi Chris… wanted to show u this…

EB5525HG 5.5 GPM @ 2500 PSI GX390 Honda GP Pump - KECSupplies.com
billy

That’s where I got mine. Jason is good people. If you have the chance , get an electric start. I didn’t see that option when I got mine and I will definitely get that option on all my future machines. A 5.5 gpm machine is a perfect residential money maker. I probably added $300 per day to my bottom line. (over my 4 gpm and 4.6 gpm machines) Going for 8.5 gpms, next! Then to 10 gpm’s!!!

Anyone link two of these together to get 11.2 gpm for a realllly fast rinse.
Still have a machine to work with if one goes down.

Bill

If I were to ditch the 4/4000 direct drives I use now, and jump on this, would I ever look back?

Are you serious? They actually care if you take a PW across the boarder? The irony of that is… sad. If we were only so strict on our southern boarder.

Ok, so why is there a huge price difference between Powerwash store and KEC on the EB5525HG 5.5 GPM @ 2500 PSI? Aren’t they the same? What am I missing? Can someone with a good grasp of this machine please chime in on this? Chris

KEC has had it on special for months, I bought mine there. The regular price is closer to $1500. It’s the same machine as far as I can see.

Thats crazy. More than double the price.

Ahh, you are not looking at the right machine the powerwash store has it at $1550. Jason @ KEC has it or $1215. I 'm pretty sure if you talk to Bill he will either match it or give you free shipping or something. I’m sure if you talk to anyone they will give you a good deal. Bob @ pressuretek, Russ @ Southside, they are all in the same ballpark and all great vendors.

Eagle Series 5.6@2500

Has anyone bargained a better price for a unit, subtracting out the nozzles, gun/wand, and hose since most of us all already have our favorite gun, plenty of hose and nozzles that work for our needs?

Never tried it myself, but seems silly to pay for extra stuff that’s not needed.

I think they come from the factory crated with all of that stuff, not added by the dealer.

No. It sounds like the customer who wanted a discount on a house wash because the shutters had just been replaced. Uh, no. People like that can be more trouble than they’re worth. Don’t be that guy.

Would you buy a new truck without tires because you had a set at home you could slap on it?

Actually my local supplier that i purchase from removed $ from the price of the unit because i didn’t want the gun, wand and black pressure hose. He’s also removed $ from the cost of hoses and other parts because i don’t use his brass quick connects. I replace them with stainless. I didn’t ask for the price reduction, he just gave it to me when i spoke with him and made my purchase. I appreciate him offering up the savings.

If you are buying a factory built p/w (or truck) from a dealer, yes I suppose you take what is included, no bargaining. But there are those (how many I don’t know, but one near me) out there that custom build units, buy parts separately and build unit. They make the hose in shop, buy rest, weld up a frame with wheels and whalla.

What’s whalla mean? Do you mean voilà? Sorry, sometimes I can’t help myself.

lol, thanks for the correction! Spanish was never my thing, you know ein, zwei, drei…and don’t get me started on that whole umlaut issue.:o

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!

That’s french.
