What do you carry?

I’m new to the business and (yes I did look through searches here on the PWRA Residential forum) I was interested in what non-pump/tank items you carry on your trucks/trailers to help you get the job done.

I’m referring to those “oh crap, I need (fill in the blank)…” items. Plus any items that make the job go quicker and smoother.

Ladders: What sizes?
Chem: What do you carry/use for house wash, flat work wash, roof wash?
Environment protection: Gutter downspout bags, tarps, plastic sheeting, tape?
Extra fittings: For what equipment?
Tools: besides hand tools, rakes, brooms, blower?

Is that a broad enough question for you folks? lol

40, 28, 16 ft ladders
Stihl hand held blowers
Extra 250 ft of pressure hose
Spare udor pump
Spare belts
Six of every coupling/fitting, injectors and plastic ball valves
Oil
Mixed gas can
100 ft spare garden hose
Tools
Check valves
We aren’t gardeners so need for shovels and rakes.
Extra turbo nozzle and two extra three way jrods

I was thinking the exact same thing when I first saw the thread.

LC9 here but I’m getting an M&P 9 soon. I flipped a coin between the two and went with Ruger. I like it a lot but just a tad small.

I use my Stihl blower a lot more than I would’ve originally thought. It’s a lot easier blowing driveways and decks off while dry than having to spray debris off with water. I always use it on gutters unless they’re jammed full of wet leaves and gunk.

As @Innocentbystander said have spares of everything. It saves so much time and money in the long run.

Depending on the job, I usually have 3 different tool boxes in storage. One for house washing, one for power washing, one for window cleaning. Whatever job I am doing that day (or if multiple) I grab the boxes with me. That way I have dedicated parts on hand.

Thank you for the replies so far! Keep the ideas flowing!
