What do u hate about "SH" or bleach?

Josh you cover up for a house wash? We never cover or pre-wet for house washes. Roof cleaning sometimes.

We presoak then bag downspouts, and water while a guy is cleaning a roof. Softwash, usually enough dilution from down streaming to get the siding/deck wet with house wash mix.

Ill wet down plants, yes. Never wanted to take a chance. Ive always been told sh will kill plants.

Check the Facebook groups, id say atleast one ā€œmishapā€ a day with SH. It can be dangerous stuff if your not properly trained. At the same time, people have to learn somehow. Cant build a cabinet by reading a book, you have to pick up a hammer. When you work with chemicals, something might go wrong. All you can do is be as careful as possible. Gain experience by practicing the proper safety procedures.

Good tip. Any color you like

If itā€™s dry or hot out iā€™ll rinse plants down for housesā€¦I always have a ground guy for roofs

Really my only problem with it is the smell (but you can mask that) and the ability to damage stuff in un trained hands. Overall though its a fantastic chemical.

What others have said about clothes, etcā€¦ but those are solvable, minor problems that I think we can all live with! When house washing I do pre-wet plants but I find decks and woodwork are more likely to catch me slipping

What color of pants are you rocking? Whatā€™s so special about these pantsā€¦do they prevent bleaching somehow?

The dickies are (I think) polyester instead of all cotton like jeans. Cotton gets bleached way easily. Polyester holds up against it

Thank you sir! Iā€™ve been putting so much thought into equipment and chemicals, work clothes never crossed my mind. Those pants are pretty cheap too. $40 for a 2 pair pack saaaaweeeet

There are really very few ā€œgreenā€ chemicals. For every gallon of ā€œgreenā€ chemical thereā€™s probably many more gallons of hazardous waste by-products from the manufacturing process.

12.5% can be dangerous if not used properly - so can water. You can kill a plant if you water it too much, and people drown every day.

If 12.5% is used properly, itā€™s just as safe and ā€œgreenā€ as any other cleaner. Itā€™s biodegradable, renewable, and extremely effective.

The only thing I donā€™t care for about 12.5% is what to do with all the 55 gallon drums. I have a collection!

Thinking about maybe making some kind of redneck pontoon boat with them one day.

Sell them? Thatā€™s what a lot of guys do around here (along with bulk totes)ā€¦

Yeah, they usually go for about 10 bucks here. Not worth the trouble of trying to sell them. I guess Iā€™ll just keep collecting them.

When I was in 6th grade I had the big idea to make a pontoon boat out of wood and two 55 gallon barrels. Wish I had a video of me and my buddy on the first launch of that sinking ship. It split in several directions when we got on it.

I knew somebody from Texas would have done it already.

like charlie said, I think its made of polyester. Polyester is solution dyed, which means that when the fabric is made it has the color already inside of it (think of plastic or vinyl siding). Instead of most other fabrics which are either made (some types of nylon) or collected (like wool and cotton) and then dyed afterwards.

I put a deposit on mine when I pick em up and get +5 when I return em, but these are bell drums. I think I can buy a few gallons of freshwash before spring if I make a return run.

Where can I buy some sh
