What are your thought on quick connect soap applicators?

What tip should be used for soaping then? Pink?

Hey William shoot Tim wash a pic of the trucks

They are on here somewhere.

People keep referring to a pink tip. I have never seen such a thing but they must exist lol. I use 0050 nozzles for soaping with a six inch wand. Same nozzle for rinsing.

Do you pull the injector when rinsing or use a shutoff valve on the chem line? I am thinking I may set up a 3 way valve so I can switch between SH and just run the second line In to my water tank. Switch over for rinse and it clears the injector every time as well.

And for some reason i show up as anonymous. Help me out @Tim4
Willia.

Nevermind. That was weird

In your dreams

You lost me.

@timetoshinepowerwash what’s in my dreams? Are you peeking in my window?

That’s the way I have mine setup, now. Kind of a no-brainer, really.

I spoke with US Plastics today. I’ve had a half dozen of the 3 ways snap at the stem this week from the box I got last Friday. They are checking the last batch and said they will call back Monday. If you are having issues please call them. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.

By all means let see 4 trucks and guys that can downstream 500 gallons per day every day.

Who and where are you? If you are close to the East coast maybe you can meet at a jobsite.

With having to prepare all those tanks of mix everyday, wouldn’t a proportioning system save a lot of time? One 55 gallon drum (or whatever) and done. You could apply with a 12V and still rinse with pressure washer.

What’s the drawback? Is the application of soap faster with the pressure washer, and so much so, that it negates the time you would save not having to make mix tanks?

We typically do 10 hour days. That’s a lot a batteries and a lot of rolling up 12 volt system to come back and rinse. 12v systems don’t really serve much purpose in pressure washing imo. 8 gpm is more efficient I think. A 65 gallon tank will last about three hours with two guys washing. Then dump in 20 gallons of SH, splash of lemonator and top of with water. That leaves 10 gallons left on truck of SH if needed. Only have one truck placarded so don’t want any more SH than that on the trucks. It works and I’m content with it. Each machine has a 12 gallon tank and we don’t carry gas cans so 10 hours is about the extent of a work day. Less if we are doing curbs and machines are maxed out all day.

Mixing 65 gallons of mix takes about 5 minutes. Best funnel is a 5 gallon cooligan water jug with the bottom cut out. Holds a five gallon pail of bleach perfectly
