Weird Question About Indoor Cleaning

I was asked to pressure wash the surrounding concrete sidewalks, entryways, curbing, etc. for a large industrial property. I sent the quote off and got the work. Then they phoned me back asking if I have the ability to do the concrete floor of a 50,000 sq ft warehouse for them. I told them I had never done anything like that and they laughed and said well if you can come up with a way to do it, you have the work. My first thought is to rent a riding floor scrubber and go for it. I did some research and was unable to find any forums related to this kind of cleaning to even provide a quote. Now I’m thinking I should decline the job and maybe refer it to an established company in my area. Has anyone here done any work like this? Thanks.

Got pics. Is it a finished, polished floor, or plain old rough concrete. Normally no different than regular, except you need to get the water out of there. Floor scrubber, vacuum system, etc. unless they have floor drains in which case can hire a few guys with floor squeegies

I was going to rent a floor sweeper/scrubber that also has a 80 gallon reclaim tank. I’m going to the warehouse on wednesday to take a look. I’ll try to remember to post pictures. Thanks for the input.

Yea it depends on what type of floor.

But this guy may be able to help you if you need an indoor portable pw with reclaim capabilities. This job may be able to pay for the whole setup.

First thing came to my mind was engine smoke in a enclosed space, don’t forget, it puts you to sleep  Be safe whatever you do.

I’m carpet cleaner and unfortunately rotovac is not answer

They also have tile cleaning machines that allow you to pressure wash a floor and immediately vacuum up the water and pump it into a drain or toilet. As opposed to having a helper squeegee and shop vac or sump pump collecting waste.

But like someone else said, without pics we can’t really input helpful advise.

Yes they have that machine and it’s take him forever to do this job .

I don’t have the most experience of anyone, but I have tried using the rental floor scrubbers and have found them to be fairly ineffective. It does spray water and brush the floor, but it doesn’t put the water out with the kind of pressure it takes to really clean the floor. If there are any greases or anything like that then you can pretty much forget about it. That was my experience with it. Maybe someone else has had a better experience with it though,
