Weird Engine problems

You need to get it wet! Ain’t worth the space it takes up otherwise. Make it float! Bring a cooler.

Worked nice as a deadlift weight when the gym closed for COVID too…

Agreed…right now it’s just always in the way when I mow…

I wanted to try those latches…but I designed all of my lids to open to the side or rear, then took it for a trailer ride to see if any of them opened…decided I didn’t need any latches at all.

Oh my goodness. Cancel the gym membership. Hire a guy to mow & take the boat out. Take on a few jobs while you’re at it haha. I’m here to pump you up! I get more exercise than I care to.

I used to…the last year has been downhill for sure…unless we’re talking about a graph plot of my weight…

Start your own business! A 2 GPM machine & 600 yard signs will whip you into shape. Or better yet take the boat out & stay Senior VP of Operations.

Wow, you did a lot more than I did. Mine has a big well with drain that can serve as center seat, so I left it. I’ll take pics later today. I kept my trolling motor at rear so I can use for propulsion if needed and I usually fish more from the center or rear and let guest fish from front or If I do take it hunting place for dog. The original had the tm up front with foot control. I like the storage for rods, but I never leave in boat, so didn’t bother building those.

I have 2 old ones that I can slap on the stern if I happen to hit one of those “big enough to need a gas motor but regulated by the tree-huggers” lakes. Then I can still use the foot controlled to steer, or pull out the emergency oar for a rudder.

I may or may not long term…that was more of a “because I want to” part of the build…

Trolling is my favorite way to roll. Toss out 2 or 3 lines & cruise along until one takes off. Super silent & no fumes makes for a nice peaceful experience.

Rick, have you been to the clear waters in Jocassee yet? Took a 13 mile trip in the kayak this morning down the lower Saluda River and got to thinking about trying to see Devils Fork State Park sometime.

For Sale: Predator Boat Anchor.
Start the motor, toss it in the water, let the double shovel technology dig itself into the sand. The motor runs for a little then automatically turns off. No better anchor exists!

LOL

I’m an avid waterfowl hunter and flounder/striper fisherman, and grew up surfing too. I love the water. I guess that’s why I started powerwashing? Haha

Racer, that’s a beautiful view

You’ve gotta go. The whole lake is beautiful. Right in the mountains. Cold clear and deep. Google it and look thru the pics. Some nice falls.

Duke started building it in late 60’s - early 70’s and there were logging trails all thru the mountains up there. It was truly in the wilds. Old Cherokee land and inhabited by more than a few unsavory characters, think moonshine and pot. That was in my motocross racing days and those logging trails were fantastic. A ton of motocrossers were always running those roads until the locals figured out by stringing piano wire at neck level was not good for the riders health. Only took a few and we had to move on.
