Wife and I are heading up towards Deadwood, SD. Been wanting to visit the area since the HBO series Deadwood. We are renting a cabin for 3 nights and we head back Sunday. Almost called it off due to the weather being so great this weekend, but we just need to get away. Anyone been to the area? I want to go see the petrified Forrest and Deadwood Tobacco Company and get me some nice cigars to enjoy while in the hot tub drinking a fine bourbon.

If you’re in SD, definitely tour the Badlands and Devil’s Tower. Shocking.
We did devil’s tower and mount Rushmore about 7 years ago. I wanted to stop in Deadwood but the wife was ready to drive home. That’s why we are going back
I went while in Sturgis bike week. Pretty cool town. Some cool history. I really enjoyed the rides through the Black Hills, it’s beautiful.
F****** awesome first day! Top 3 burger of all time in Lead, SD. We had to drive in white out conditions for a while though. The hot tub and a bottle of whiskey made it worth it. For you cigar smokers the Deadwood Tobacco Company Sweet Jane is nice stick to smoke as well
