Recently got a bid to do these huge greenhouses but by the way they’re shaped and the size of them I’m not sure how to approach them. (90.000 sq ft)
They don’t really seem too walkable plus they’re super long on each end it’s gonna be very hard to get some spots in the middle unless I’m walking on the roof but then again I don’t know if I can even walk on these roofs. One of the greenhouses is all plastic tarp so no walking at all on that one. Maybe if I stay in the bottom of the arches on the plastic ones?
Whoever decided to join all these small buildings together must have been smoking some of that weed because there doesn’t seem to have been a thought given to the maintenance headache they have created in the structures.
Given that they are full of an expensive, agricultural, human consumable crop and highly unlikely to be reliably watertight based on the materials, I wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing any chemicals or pressure anywhere close to those roofs unless they were empty when I did it. Since that seems unlikely, I would walk away.
that’s what i was thinking.
the last pic looks like that side could even be hit from the ground, some others appear to be the same too, not all though.
Yeah I could put a ladder at the peaks but the issue is the length. I likely wouldn’t be able to reach in the middle which is my concern. They’re about 225 feet long.
Also can only imagine how expensive it would be even if I accidentally burned up a small amount of plants. Which were all in full bloom as the season comes to and end soon, might pass on this one
There’s also a small area at the top the of roof that lifts, leaving a huge gap you can see in that picture there. I mentioned to him that this would probably not work as my detergent would shoot right in there. He told me not to worry that it can be lowered and is a new greenhouse. Don’t know if I trust it fully especially spraying from a downward angle
