Anyone using a local or national digital marketing agency for their business? (“SEO” Organic & PPC, Emails, Reviews,Facebook,Blog,Web Content,IT) If yes, could you share your experiences, (good & bad)
I started using one this month who’s local. I would have posted her website but I just went there and it was down. OOPS! That doesn’t bode well, does it? She has me investing $500 per month in Google ads, and she’s working on my meta tags and SEO.
BUT, I contacted a company about building out a database for outbound marketing. I’m asking for emails of $500,000 up homeowners in my area. My best customers are those who contact me for window cleaning and who I can upsell PW while I’m there. Those million dollar homes on the water are my perfect customers because those jobs will bring more substantial revenue and are less likely to look for a better deal on the next go round.
The one thing I CAN tell you is that it takes 60 to 90 days to get results because Google goes through a process of vetting a site to move it up in the rankings.

In using a great company or of Florida.I’ve seen significantly growth and were averaging a few calls a day even in what is supposed to be our slow season. I don’t think I’m supposed to plug other companies on here so if you’re interested shoot me a pm and I’ll get back to you with their info.

Not necessarily true…For a brand new site, yes. If the site has been up for 6 months it can move in rankings in one day.
I spent an entire day learning how to use google webmaster… Spent hours doing quality backlinks ( All social media platforms, All local business directories, and Pressure washing directories) Yelp, Yellow pages ect…
Changer your Meta Tags to they keywords your customers will be searching. Your City____Pressure Washing Services
Submit your Sitemap through google webmaster, perform the search and render option in the webmaster app
You can move from page 4-5 to page 1 in a day or two ( If google likes your content)
Don’t hire someone to do this… Your Meta Tags will have a low keyword ranking and will be easy to move up, unless you are in Detroit, Chicago, LA, Dallas… a big city with dozens of companies.
Use MOZ backlink search tool, go to Dallas, LA… ( A big city) See what company pops up first in the results that doesnt have the city in the domain. Search their website in the MOZ backlink search tool and mimick where they are putting backlinks. Example… backlinks from the roof cleaning institute is huge… ( Go over there, make a free acct and post a welcome post… with your website domain… for some reason they have a high domain authority… unlike this website.

Have a blog section on your website where you write quality content rich articles that are relevant to power washing. ( will your customers ever read this? Probably not… but google will love it) In the body of the blogs post a backlink to your homepage… and with the backlinks you put around the internet use the url to the blog page… tier backlinking… google loves it.

I’m using nicejob.com and I can’t say enough about how awesome they are! Top shelf in everything, and sites start at $145/month. When I started my site they told me they’d try to have me on the second page of Google within 3-4 months…they had me on page 1 in less than 9 weeks.
They consistently reply to phone calls or emails within a VERY short time.
They are, in my opinion the best of the best.

Don’t forget to add some external links to high creditability websites. A good one is Wikipedia. Quote something from an article and back link to it with relevant text. Open the link in a new window. The attribute is target="_blank" if you are adding the html yourself.
