Water reclaim system idea

Hi everyone, I have a question about making a system for water reclaim. I have a 4gpm machine. I am doing mostly residential so im not producing that much water when doing dirveways. However, my state requires that we reclaim the water. My idea was to use the buffer that I have (I dont use it because I dont have a belt drive) to use a sump pump and suck the water into the tank in my truck. The house would have to be about 7 or so feet off the ground by the time its at the top of the tank. Id be using a deep cycle battery to power it. Would this concept work? Most people just have the water flow onto the grass or some other spot but I have noticed that some of the houses that im cleaning dont have any place that would work with that method. All input is appreciated. On a pretty tight budget. Maybe $400 or so.

Diverting it to the sewer clean out is sometimes an option. They make surface cleaners that are made to reclaim. I’m sure there is a pump purpose built to work with it.

Just make sure you have you CDL, haz mat endorsement, medical card and a permitted location to dump it. Lot easier to just keep it from going in a drain or not washing driveways.

Havent seen any of those on the jobs ive been doing. if it so much as touches the storm drain thats a big no no here.
