Water lines

What chemical would be best to remove this algae I already use 12.5% sodium hypochlorite didn’t do the trick

Are you sure it’s algae? How did you apply? What ratio? How many applications? Did you scrub?

You may be facing something that isn’t algae. Especially if 12.5% SH didn’t do the trick. Perhaps something that is more of a pool surface cleaner would be better, maybe mutating acid? But I’d be hesitant to recommend that to you since you suspected that stain to be algae.

Check with local pool supply store and show them a good close up picture of what you are dealing with and they may have a good cleaner for that type of stain.

Acid should do the trick

You ‘applied’ 12%, but all that does is kill it and turn it brown. Next step is to rinse it off with some flavor of nozzle, is that what you tried?

Those are probably hard water lines….the pool guys usually use muriatic acid to clean that. At least around my area…
