I have a 5.5 gpm machine and wanted to relocate my water filter closer to the pump. I was wondering if I did would it damage the pump? No reduction in water inlet and pump is belt drive.
You will be fine. Most say closer the better. I personally like mine away from The pump to keep the extra weight of the pump fitting.
